Multiple errors received during package creation:

Error" ''[workflow path]]' Process is referencing the 'GetListItemByTitle' method on the ''[SmartObject Name]]' SmartObject that could not be found.

Error" ''[workflow path]]' Process is referencing the type 'read' of the 'GetListItemByTitle' method on the ''[SmartObject Name]]' SmartObject that could not be found.

Unable to create package during Package and Deployment process.

Additional message from error UI: The source of the error is located in the [workflow event name]] event. Open the workflow and re-run the wizard.

 

Diagnoses

A dynamic variable was discovered in the body of the email notification (in the workflow event wizard) that was making the 'GetListItemByTitle' method call, causing the error.
 

Resolution

Removed the dynamic variable from the email message and deployed workflow. After doing so, package was able to be created successfully with no errors. Note, in this case the dynamic variable was just removed. In case of the need of replacement, calling the same dynamic variable would need to be done so that the method called is 'GetListItemByID'. Depending on configuration of references, this should be achievable by pulling the dynamic variable from the Item Reference of the associated SmartForm.
