Symptoms


Unable to access K2 Workspace from local PC. When accessing any of the workflow server nodes in Workspace, an error message saying "the requested name is valid, but no data of the requested type was found." is shown.
 

Diagnoses


The k2 service was started in console mode successfully, as no errors were thrown. We found out that there was a missing configuration in the k2 workspace site web.config.
 

Resolution

The following line was added in the k2 workspace web.config file:

To:-






Additionally, you would need to restart the k2 service in console mode via the k2 blackpearl server shortcut in the start menu (all programs > k2 blackpearl > k2 blackpearl server).
