Symptoms

Error Message: Cannot open a connection when there is an ambient Aborted transaction. Cannot access Designer.
 

Diagnoses

K2 can get loaded and stops accepting connections. This can be due a Memory leak which can caused by a process on a loop or a design on a workflow that didn't went well
 

Resolution

Restarting the K2 service fixed the issue for the moment. For a deeper investigation a memory Dump for the K2HostServer.exe application needs to be created at the moment the issue is happening. To do that, Open Task Manager, go to processes, select K2HostServer.exe and Right click on it and select "Create Dump File".
