I have blank form with nothing on it the first thing I try to do is publish I am getting xml gibberish view of an error. Buried inside it is the request error
The server encountered an error processing the request. The exception message is 'Invalid field name. {GUID}.
This is a blank form no development so what column are they talking about?

What I would suggest is to open the form and click reset to reset the form to its default settings. Then try and publish. Since your form is blank with no controls, I'm not sure you can actually publish it as it doesn't contain anything to publish. I could be wrong, but I've never attempted to publish a blank form before.
