Is it possible to perform a data transfer from a drop down list in one view, and send it to a data label in another in smartforms?

You can certainly transfer the "selected" value of a drop down list in one view to a datalabel in another. Simply use the transfer data action in your rule and drag the dropdown list into the datalabel when you configure it.
