Symptoms


The K2 Attachment view is not working (Rule Action Configuration is Missing/lost in the Destination Environment After Deployment) after deployment in the Destination site.

Deployment Process : using the Browser based package deployment wizard (SharePoint List ribbon)
Expected behavior :Post selection of the required document to attach and clicking on the "Add" button , the item should show up in the Attachment section , and should get saved when the list item is saved.

Current behavior : On clicking on the Add button, the "Add Attachment" popup closes but the selected document does not appear in the Attachments view.
Tried multiple times on multiple sites and list and the same issue was observed.

Tried opening the Attachment View of the Target and Source systems to check the difference and observed that the the Actions required to save the selected item in the List View and then save the Item were lost on deployment on the source site.
 

Diagnoses


This has been identified as a known issue and a TFS item has been logged so this can be addressed.
 

Resolution


A TFS Item has been created and this will be addressed in a future release of K2. As a workaround the rules need to be re added manually.
