The deployment tool is not working after installation
 

Diagnoses

i am setting up the K2 environment on our developer VM. I installed K2 blackpeal and smart form and then the deployment and package tool. The deployment package tool didn't show any error during the configuration wizard. However, when i open the tool to create a new package, it shows the error in the attachment.
 

Resolution

Labs identified a duplicate entry in the K2Hostserver.exe.config file that was preventing Package and Deploy from working. We removed the configuration file from the Hostserver/bin directory ran the K2 Blackpearl repair so it would recreate the configuration file, then we ran the configuration step for the Package and Deploy setup to configure that tool and after that the package and deploy tool worked without error.
