Symptoms

We've converted to a K2 farm in Dec. I just went into a SharePoint 2010 mode site and updated a process and selected deploy. I approved the task, but then got one for rework. Not knowing what was going on (since no one else would have been a part of the approval) I opened up the viewflow and found that the Deploy activity failed.

 

Diagnoses

Usually when a sharepoint process gets updated and there are changes to the configuration. A good practice is to update the Design Templates of the workflow and redeploy.
 

Resolution

During an online meeting we downloaded the project, updated the Design Templates and then redeployed. Doing this, resolved the issue. I looked at our internal documentation but couldn't find any relation or report of this kind.
