I am trying to create a customized task form which hides panels based on a context item field value, but the rule doesn't work. I have also attempted to use inline function to create if, then, else statement based on context item field value to display in a calculated field, but this doesn't seem to work either. Do rules and inline functions not work on task forms?

rules normally works on task form.
could you post an example what are you trying to do and what problems are you experiencing.
+7I believe I have figured out the issue. I was basing my rules on values of named fields in the item form, these were failing. I changed tact, and created a variable with a list lookup to the same field value and the rule worked as expected.
