when using the Task Delegation feature (located under the user name drop down), will this delegation carry through on all site collections within the farm or does this delegation need to be set on each site collection.

"The scope can be changed to apply only to tasks from the current site, or the entire SharePoint farm."
But if one of your delegations include "All Sites" (unchecked scope) then there is no way to delegate sitecollection A to person A and sitecollection to Person B. I asked a similar question, because i would say it's better when the special rule (on one sitecollection) supersed the global one "All sites"
Nintex Task delegation - "for this teamsite only" > "All sites"
