I've created a site collection reusable workflow template for use in a document library approval process.

However, when I try to get to run conditionally from the Workflow Start options, it doesn't run.  After reading more of the Nintex Workflow documentation, it seems that only list or library workflows can be started with options (run on new, modified, conditionally).

Is there a work-around for this limitation?  I would like to trigger this from a yes/no checkbox on the document.

Any ideas?

Yes this is the exact issue I had with reusable site collection workflows -  the comment from support being:

This behavior is due to the limitations of SharePoint. Microsoft have imposed the 32 character limit on the internal column names which causes the behaviors that we observed. This is not something that we can change the workaround would be to have shorter column names instead of spaces "-,_" could be used.

Hmm....none of my column names are longer than 16 characters.  I intentionally avoided spaces and special characters in my column names based on what I've read on this site.  (So I am capable of learning, albeit it slowly.)  happy.png

I tried my workflow again this morning and NOW it works.  Should I question success?
