Is there a manner in which these K2 objects can be migrated from our old, decommissioned staging server to our newly configured staging server?


 

Diagnoses

This was a fresh install of product and the old servers were decommissioned. There is no option to just import some parts of K2 like Processes or SmartObjects.

 

Resolution


Moving the old Database to the new SQL server, Install the previous version of K2 in the new server (The installed corresponding to version in the moved database) and point it to the old database. Once everything got installed then update to the new version of K2. The symmetric key script was needed.
