A project has several iterations where workflows are being developed and tested and fixed repeatedly then put on staging servers then put on production servers.

At some time, staging of the next iteration workflows - with fixes to the current and previous workflows - will be hand in hand with the current iteration workflows.

We considered changing the database -including k2 databases- between the staging and production servers to make sure all workflows are ready for use.

But we discovered that we cannot go offline in order to test the staging workflows.

what should we do in order to fix this?
