Have you guys noticed any performance improvement by using Enterprise edition? This is to try to speed up the search to run under 30 seconds (otherwise it times out). We tried limiting search scope and archive is not an option at this point.

What is the largest memory allocation you have seen for SQL Server running for K2?
Currently I have tried to run SQL Server x64 on a 8gig VM, but search in certain scenerios still times out. I am not sure if 16gig memory would yield any more improvement (w/database in cache or sort workspace in memory).
