Hi folks,

Having some troubles with Kerberos authentication and K2.

We have a 2 server setup, one Web Front End with Workspaces installed, and one app server with Blackpearl Server installed.

We have a single service account K2_Test, and it has 6 SPNs applied (verified using setspn -L domainK2_Test, from the WFE box), HTTP, K2Server and K2HostServer.

The Configuration Analysis tool can't detect the SPNs though, which is leading to incorrect IIS Authentication settings.

Just wondering if there is anyway for me to check what the Config tool is doing to detect the SPNs.

Thanks,

Gordon

I can't speak to the config tool but I can tell you I have seen the same thing in our environment.  It seems completely sporadic.  Sometimes when running setup manager the SPNs are detected, sometimes they are not.  I have not paid enough attention to know if it is something that has been changing between versions.

I know kerberos is set up properly and know what the IIS settings should be so if the config manager reports it incorrectly I ignore it.
