Symptoms

Receive the below error when Save as PDF method is used The PDF could not be saved Type: System.IO.FileNotFoundException Message: Could not load file or assembly 'filelInstall Dir]Program Files (x86)K2 blackpearlServiceBrokerSourcecode.SmartObjects.Services.PDFConverter.dll' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. Source: SourceCode.HostServerLib
 

Diagnoses

Using the SmartObject Tester Tool to execute the PDF Convertor SMO the same error was displayed. In the K2 Database the file references used for the PDF Convertor was verified. It was found that the file reference was pointing to a different Install Directory.
 

Resolution

In the Database, the path details for the PDF Convertor was updated to point to the correct Install Directory. The PDF Convertor SMO was successfully retested using the SmartObject Tester Tool and client confirmed that it was also working from Forms/Views.
