Symptoms
We have an issue with list view filters and the picker control not rendering correctly. The client is also not running an custom code on the views
Diagnoses
After doing an IIS reset the issue is temporarily fixed and the issue re-occurs after sometime
Have you used cache refresh command? If so please refrain from use of this command wherever you are able to do normal application pool recycle or iisreset operation. As it was well spotted by us on a previous ticket with a similar issue, that this is not a documented command and we now confirmed that it is not supported and not recommended one (apart from testing/debugging scenarios where you cannot do iisreset).
On a different ticket with a similar issue, they were using the old Platinum theme or a variation thereof (probably the SharePoint 2010 theme) and the solution was to switch to the Lithium theme. However when switching back to Platinum, the issue disappeared.
Resolution
Refreshing the K2 Smartforms app pool daily seems to correct the issue.
