Smartobject is taking too long to get list data
 

Diagnoses

Our out of box smartobject is taking too long to get data from Sharepoint List, this list has around 800 items and it is indexed, Smart object is taking around 50 Seconds to return the value which is causing performance issue, we are using Infopath form which is getting data using smart object, We would like to get help in troubleshooting this issue and resolve this.
 

Resolution

There were Smartobject performance enhancements in later releases of K2 blackpearl. I would recommended upgrading to the latest version 4.6.9 (at the time) or at least 4.6.7 if possible, to make use of these performance enhancements:
