Symptoms
SmartObject has not run properly as to the rule definition some cases appeared the Smartform rules did not run all the way through as expected. After User submitted the info for Conflict Request page, it should then sends through to Conflict process and log a record on history log. But the issue is the flow stopped at the step of intake ID creation without process the next configuration. Forward to Compliance Details page (next page).
Diagnoses
1. Disabled SmartObject create rule (fixed it temporally not a full solution)
2. Recreated the rule (still failed intermittently)
3. Got their DB?s restored could not reproduce the same behavior
4. Full logging enabled did not show anything pointing out the root cause.
Resolution
The root cause is that the SmartObject create method did not run through all its rules and was caused by a report that was locking a table on SQL Database.
After Changing how the report works no instances have occurred where the create method rules failed on K2.
