Hello,

has anybody developed a SmartObject that runs against SharePoint Search - so not the SharePoint Search Event, which is a simple CAML query, not really search.

We use a lot of Search-driven applications within SharePoint and one sees the power of this approach. It would be great to extend this towards K2.

The idea would be to define a SmartObject with a Query as Input parameter and properties that match the SharePoint managed properties of the indexing. The SmartObject just has a get list items method. SharePoint returns the values as XML or DataSet, so it would be easy to map them.

So I am wondering whether anybody has developed something like this?

Best regards

Hermann

Hi

has anybody a resolution for that?

I wrote of these and posted it to the Market.

Link to NAB.K2.SharePoint

There are a set of videos that show how it works and how to configure it.  Might look there first to see if that is what you are after.

It is a little heavy on the configuration side, as we needed some pretty specific funcitontion internally.

Would be very interested in your feedback.
