Dear all,

Recently I tried to create a simple process that includes a single Exchange Event sending a meeting request, and I successfully deployed it.

When I start a new instance I got error message "SmartObject [ExchangeCalendar] could not be found.". I did not use any SmartObject with such name in my event and I can't find it in the SmartObject server either.

Is it a pre-installed object shipped with K2 Blackpearl or should it be created by developer?

Appreciate your help. Thanks.

It sounds like you probably haven't installed and configured the Exchange components yet.

http://help.k2.com/en/KB001189.aspx

"The Exchange Management Tools need to be installed on the machine hosting the K2 Server. If this is not installed, the the installer will be unable to verify that Microsoft Exchange 2007 is installed on the environment and the Exchange Service and SmartObjects will not be installed."

How can you tell if they are installed?

I dont see anything in the setup manager wizard that refers to the Exchange components. Is there a place or a file I can check to make sure they are installed?

thanks

You should just be able to search on your computer for Exchange like any other program. Here are the steps from Microsoft if you need help getting them installed.
