Smarforms Not Loading
 

Diagnoses


The following error is seen when trying to access Smartforms.

"K2 smartforms - your browser's compatibility mode is not supported. Your browser is supported but it is running in a compatibility mode which is not." is shown instead the requested form.

This also made a reference to IE 7 as well.
 

Resolution

It seems that this has something to do with the response headers on the K2 root sites within IIS. So currently this is set to the X-UA compatible = EmulateIE7.

Within IIS please set the response headers to use IE9 or to a supported version, then please perform an IIS reset and then do a retest within smartforms. This should be done under the K2 root site category.

After this please do a retest of the K2 form in question.
