Everytime I run the setup manager it either creates duplicate SmartForms environment variables or changes the existing ones.

Does anyone have a definition answer on what environment variables should be in place?  We are running SSL, so do we only need SmartForms Designer Runtime SSl, SmartForms Designer SSL, or more?  Do these point to designer/runtime and /designer respectively?  Is there an environment variable that should be in place for runtime/runtime?

It is very confusing.

Hi wkucardinal,

Can you send me a screen shot/Example of the duplicate environment variables that is showing?

Also i just find out what runtime and designtime is shown in in workspace under:

> Management

> Management console

> ;Server]:]Port]

> Workflow server

> String Table

> String Table {Environment being used}

As by default it points to:{Note that for ssl it will only be https instead of http the rest should stay the same.}

Smartforms Designer: http://pServer|domain Used]:ePort{If nesasery}]/Desinger/Runtime

Smartforms Runtime: http://tServer|domain Used]:sPort{If nesasery}]/Runtime/Runtime

Also the above url's can also be found in: {This is the default templates created}

> Management

> Management console

> >Server]:rPort]

> Environment library

> Templates

> Default Templates

> Environments

> Environment {Being used}

> Environment Fields

The documentation below also explains the url's a bit more.

Hope this helps.

If this is not exactly what you were asking for please let me know.

And if there is anything you don’t understand from what I posted previously please let me know so that I can explain more on that.
