I would suggest you try re-configuring K2 Smartforms from the installation media.

After running the re-configuration of K2 Smartforms please go to K2 studio and check if the Smartforms Client Event is still missing or not.

Have you managed to restore the client event in K2 Studio? I think running a repair from the installation media might help. As to why it's missing, I have no idea...

The event started appearing in K2 Studio once after reconfiguring the K2 Smartforms.
