Smartactions - Mail not sending
 

Diagnoses


When you have configured a client event that requires the use of Smart Actions. You get the following error once the process has been started:

System.Exception: No destinations could send the message Credit Decision Application - Executive Manager Approval.

How does this error occur?

 

Resolution

If you have a look at the connection string settings you will see that it could be pointing to an email address that has been disabled within the identity.identity table in SQL.

If this is true then please do check the connection string editor to see if it has updated here, also have a look at the Hostserver.exe.config file as well to see if the connection string for the email settings have been update accurately.
After this a service restart will have to be done here too.
