Symptoms

After upgrade to 4.6.8 and installation of the client components Smart Object tester is not installed any more as it was in the previous installation. We have checked the install and we cannot find Smart Object tester in the list of applications that can be installed.
 

Diagnoses

The Short cut is not automatically created to the Desktop or included as an application in the start menu.
 

Resolution

Smart Object Tester tool executable can be found in the  K2 installation directory. By default it looks as follows:

C:Program Files (x86)K2 blackpearlBinSmartObject Service Tester.exe

If necessary you can create a shortcut for it. For example you can right click on "SmartObject Service Tester.exe" file and select Send to > Desktop (create shortcut) from context menu.
