Thanks for replying. 

I am referring to sleeping a worklistitem for a group of people.

 Assuming, there are 5 users in Group A.

All the users receive a task(worklistitem).

One user sleeps the task. Doing this should sleep the task for the rest 4 users.

The task should reappear in each user's worklist once the sleep time expires.

Hmm the default worklist doesn't work that way.

 Maybe one idea is to create another dummy activity called "Sleep" with a start rule.  Once the activity starts, it would just loop back to the original client actiity.  This would give the impression of removing the task from the other user's worklist when a user chooses to sleep the workitem (from the application page).

Could you please elaborate on this ?

 I did not get it.
