Symptoms

We are planning on using the K2 web-part to display K2 smart-form views/forms on landing pages within a SharePoint site. The problem is that you have to sign in to K2 when the page with the web-part is on is opened. We would like to have Single Sign-On so our field techs don't have to do a separate logon.

Diagnoses

1. To achieve this behavior, you will need to add the K2 site(s) to the trusted zone with the 'Automatic logon with current username and password' option as per:

http://help.k2.com/onlinehelp/k2blackpearl/icg/current/webframe.html_troubleshooting_settingsforie.html

2. For a domain-wide effect, you will likely need to use a Group policy:

Resolution

The necessary browser settings were implemented.
