Symptoms

When trying to initiate a new workflow design via the K2 for SharePoint 2013 app, users see a similar error and stack trace to the one below as soon as the designer attempts to load:

"An Application error has occurred.
Exception:
>Isolated_StorageOperation]"

 

Diagnoses

This error is related to the Silverlight cache being full on the machine where the error message is being presented.
 

Resolution

The following steps seem to resolve the issue on the client machine where the user was seeing the error:

1. Run Silverlight.configuration.exe--this can be found in the C:Program FilesMicrosoft Silverlight5.1.30214.0, but it might be a different version number.
2. Click on the 'Application Storage' tab
3. Click the 'Delete all...' button
4. Click 'Yes' to delete the application storage for all web sites
5. Clear browser cache (cookies and temp files, uncheck preserve favorites data) and see if the error persists.
