For example: on a rule, you should use and Action to fill a control (ie: data label), and drag and drop a System Value to the Text field from the control.

Thanks for the reply Will. I can get the user from System Value but I need to access certain properties from SharePoint 2013 User Profile which are not provided by K2 directly. For this I need to access 'User Profile' through K2 but I am not sure how to configure/implement it.
