Symptoms

We have recently moved a SharePoint teamsite, which was K2 workflows integrated into it, on the create event of list items. We use the MSBUILD method of deploying workflow and have redeployed the workflows to the new teamsite. But, when we add list items in Stage, it launches workflows in PROD.
 

Diagnoses

It is likely that some of the values stored in the K2 Hidden list for this site is still pointing to the PROD environment as this site was moved. There is a hidden list per site that would contain the "Workflow Server" and "Workflow Management Server" values per process in this site. It usually has a unique GUID name and as such perhaps using the Sharepoint Manager 2010/2013 is necessary to attain its location.
 

Resolution

Used Microsoft Sharepoint Designer find this hidden list as per:

Updating the values for the following columns "Workflow Server" and "Workflow Management Server" to the respective K2 environment for each process resolved the issue.
