Symptoms

HostServer logs are full of errors like

"Error","IdentityService","64005","ResolvingException","IdentityService.ProviderCacheIdentity:GroupProvider.GetGroup","64005 Failed to resolve 'K2:DENALLIXDomain Users': Group cannot be found.."

 

Diagnoses

This only occurs in 4.7 after a group provider has been registered with the same name as the domain.
 

Resolution

A bug has been logged for this behavior. The errors can be safely ignored.

The workaround is to not register a group provider with the same name as the domain. Since the group provider name uses the name of the root site for the group provider, ensure that the site name is not the same as the domain when running the registration wizard.
