Hello,

I am having a strange problem where I create an instance of a SharePoint list item and everything field in the instance gets populated correctly except for one field.  The field in question is a GUID that I want to store in a text box in SharePoint.  It works fine in my dev environment however in Test it populates the field with a random guid.  

To test this I email myself the value of the GUID before the instance of the list item gets created and it emails me the correct GUID however when I see it in SharePoint it has another GUID altogether.  Each instance gets the same GUID, I matched the value of the wrong GUID back to an instance in a completely different list so I'm not sure how it even appears.

Does anyone have any ideas?
