Symptoms
SharePoint 2013 - Documents Events: Update Document Properties doesn't work.
In this workflow, I use the 'Get Document Reference' event and then use that reference for email attachment, but when I add 'Update Document Properties' event to the workflow, the column I am updating will never update.
Diagnoses
The issue was caused by the document library template.
Resolution
Creating new document library resolved the issue.
