Symptoms
SharePoint 2010 role membership is not getting updated on Workspace.
Diagnoses
When assigning a role to use as destination users via a SmartObject, which roles contains two user names, only one of them was getting updated as the actual destination. The other user was not receiving the task on Workspace.
In the tester tool the method is reflecting the changes.
The client notices that in table [K2].[Identity].[CacheConfiguration] the values were set to 168h which was causing the problem.
Resolution
Client updated the timeout values to 5mins which solved the issue.
The customer had values other than the default values.
