Hi there.

I was tring to set item permissions to an user in a K2 workflow, and then got a problem.

To set item permissions to the specific users or groups which directly dragged from SharePoint can be easily done using the activities in K2 designer or K2 studio.

While I want to set item permissions to the user which is received dymanically from a database under some conditions.  

I tried to use "Remove List Item Permissons" and "Add User or Group Permissions to List" in the SmartObject of the List which is automatically sattled ,

But it seems not work.

 

Anyone get an idea about that?

Have you tried associating the datasource with a Role?

 

You can specify the role to be dynamic as well.
