After I had problems after a default Installation with the K2 Workspace (I installed it using a domain account with windows authentication) I can not connect to the K2 Workspace using IE6.
I get an error: Service Unavailable
The account I am using is used for the application pool under which all K2 Applications are running. He is also a local Admin on the server where K2 Server is installed. The environment is just one server (SQL also on the same server)
Because of the not working workspace, I already tried to put this service account to the domain admins -> still not working.
I also made him to owner of both K2 databases -> still not working.
The only situation it works, is to start the application pool under Local System Account (But for sure we don't want this because of to less security)
It also works if I start the Application Pool under the Domain administrator Account. (the strange thing is, that I put my service account also into the domain administrator group and even then its not working).
!! I am at the customers site only for today and need this Installatio to work within the next hour.
What can I do to make this Installation work under my Service User Domain Account?

The account used for the application pool must also be added to the IIS_WPG group on the IIS machine in order for that user to start the IIS application pool successfully
This error normally occurs when:
1. The AppPool ID account has got an incorrect password; or
2. The AppPool ID account is not part of the IIS_WPG group on local machine.
In both instances, the AppPool will not start up and cause that error.
