Symptoms

_1:A Salesforce service instance was configured as per K2 documentation. Some service objects were created, however, a large number of service objects are missing.

_2:While troubleshooting the issue, it was noted that the Service Instance is missing a key value for MSNETSFprototypemap. Please refer to the uploaded service instance image supplied to this ticket.

Diagnoses

_1:The error the customer saw when trying to update the SalesForce Service “Unsupported Microsoft .NET type: System.Stringr]” is the cause of the missing Sales force objects in the service. The error was also thrown when registering the service instance and generating the objects and then the code exists and only half die objects was created.

_2:Salesforce v34 has a new Field Definition Object that is of type system.StringS], our service never needed to support a string array and hence it failed.

Resolution

_1:Adding the missing object in Service Instance, and customer was able to update the Salesforce Service Instance.

_2:Codfix is available. Please contact K2 Support.
