Symptoms


Service Account QA_KI2SVC is unable to peg through the LDAP services for access to AD
 

Diagnoses


QA is newly installed. While trying to setup security to workflows via K2 Workspace the search for the user id on AD just clocks. No error messages are being created that we can find. The setup from dev was recreated, and when comparing the services in dev to QA, the setup looks the same. Dev works, QA doesn't.
 

Resolution

Issue: QA is newly installed. While trying to setup security to workflows via K2 Workspace the search for the user id on AD just clocks. No error messages are being created that we can find. The setup from dev was recreated, and when comparing the services in dev to QA, the setup looks the same. Dev works, QA doesn't.

Resolution: Pulled up Workspace from local desktop and were able to locate AD user when performing the search function. After reviewing settings we were able to discover that display mixed content was disabled on server which was causing the AD search to not appear. Enabled and located users when performing a search.
