Symptoms

You have a smartforms integrated process with the following logic set up. If the requesting Project Manager is the same as the New Project Manager on the subform. It should skip to the Billing Activity. But I receive errors that Data is not pulling through.
 

Diagnoses

When subview line item click, open item view as a subview and populate the subview with data of the line item. There are Employee and Task dropdown list controls that will not be populated.

 

Resolution

I suspected that there are rules on view or form level that override the value of these controls. We generated a new item view, set these two fields as dropdown list controls with filter set based on value of Project dropdownlist control. We were able to configure the new view to be open as subview and use transfer data rule to populate the view correctly.
