Is there any ways I could send the entire form via email on button click? This use to be native functionality within Infopath but I couldn't find it in K2 Appit.

Any hints, suggestion or tips

I'm not very familiar with Infopath; could you clarify what is meant by "sending the entire form"?  Are you trying to send a link to the form, an image of the form, or a working version of the form via email?

Thanks,

Jonathan

Basically I would like to send the entire K2 Appit form to a receipent email when user clicks a button on the form.

I'm still not clear on what you're trying to achieve.  Due to security concerns, most email clients won't run JavaScript, so interacting with any web page (outside of simple images with hyperlinks) would be impossible within an email body.  You can easily link to the form though.

Are you referring to something like : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdfS-Q9i0Sw

Many years ago MS made it possible to use Infopath as a native app elemnt in Outlook.

As mentioned, this isnt something native in K2 today. You have various options:

1. Put a link to the K2 form in the email notification (this is most common today)

2.  Add a PDF attachment using the SF PDF control . This is useful when someone wants to see a static rendering of the form in email.

3.  Use the Outlook add-in arachitecture recommended by MS to render and intersct with a K2 form directly in Outlook and OWA - http://dev.office.com/docs/add-ins/outlook/overview

@K2publisher

Yes, that is what I am referring to. I will give this a try and post my update.

Appreciate your response

@JonathanT

My apologies if I am not being clear on my ask. Basically what K2Publisher has described in the response is close to what I am trying to accomplish.

Thanks again for your response
