We have a Start Rule on some activity which we discovered to be wrong and need to be changed .The issue that we have many active instances from same activity and all in WAITING state for the wrong Start Rule.

We need to change the rule and be able to re-run those waiting  activities with new rule in some way. What’s the best recommendation to go around this !! best practice if there is any?

Don’t know if there is a way to do this if a process is still running “wait”, I doubt it. If can get the process to error you can do the following:

When you are done changing and deploying the fixed process, click on view > K2 Process Management. Your process in error state will be listed here. Chose the process and click retry. In the retry Details box chose the latest version of the process and tick the Retry All instances box.

This will retry the process with the latest version. The following link should be helpful as well:

User's issue is probably for K2 .net 2003.

You should contact K2 support regarding the issue, you probably need to do something in the database.

This will teach me to read before reply. Thanks Peter
