Roles not visible in K2 Studio
I created a simple workflow in K2 Studio that sends an email based on the role. However, when I went to add a role, I got this message "The requested name is valid, but no data of the requested type was found."
I went back to the workflow in K2 Studio, refreshed the User Browser and still got the same message as above, "The requested name is valid, but no data of the requested type was found"
Why isn't the roles showing?
Diagnoses
The error message “The requested name is valid, but no data of the requested type was found.” usually indicates that the K2 client tools points to the wrong K2 server.
Resolution
Please navigate to the following hidden directory: C:ProgramDataSourceCode
Edit the "ConfigurationManager.config" file and then edit the connection string of the node below to point to the K2 Server that you want:
