Resolution

1. When a new user is added to a role, will take roughly about 1 hour before role memberships changes are reflected this is as designed with configurable values.

2. That being said, a "Dynamic" type role can also be created, such that when a new user is added Role memberships are reflected within about ~ 1 minute (upon the next execution of a new process instance or execution of the nUMUser > Get Role Users] Smartobject).

** The "Dynamic" flag can be enabled

3. Additionally, the "Keep Role Synchronized." option from "Advanced Destination Planning" can be used in tandem with the "Dynamic" Flag to keep any "existing" process instances role task assignment up-to-date (updates right away when a user opens their worklist for existing process instances).

4. This refresh can also be forced manually with the utility below in a 2 steps process:

a. To expire this role, execute of this tool with the Role Name in the "UserGroup Name" field, with the "Object Type" set to "Role", and the "Membership" option checked under "Area to Update".
b. To force the refresh, execute the Smartobject Service Tester Tool > All Smartobject category > UMUser Smartobject > "Get role Users" method with the Role Name
