Symptoms

Increase/decrease indent feature in RTF control behaves inconsistently and cause irrevocable change of text formatting.
Sample steps to reproduce this issue:
1. Create a view with a rich text control.
2. Run the view
3. Enter a few lines in the rich text control and leave an empty line in between. Technically speaking, do this:
3.1. Write a word "Test 1"
3.2. Hit enter 2 times (causing it to jump to the next line and add an empty line)
3.3. Write a word "Test 2"
3.4. Go to 3.2 and repeat a few times.
4. Select all lines
5. Press the intending to right button.
6. Your lines should now jump to the right a bit
7. Select all lines again.
8. Press the intending to left button.
9. Select all lines again.
10. Press the intending to right button.
11. Select all lines
12. Press the intending to left button.
 

Diagnoses

This is known issue with RTF control in K2 SmartForms 4.6.9. This issue is present in IE9/11 and Chrome but not in Firefox. Unfortunately, this issue cannot be coldfixed as fixing it requires major code changes in K2.
 

Resolution

This is known issue which cannot be coldfixed or patched as RTF control features rely on underlying third party software component being used by K2 which has to be updated. This update requires major code changes in K2 SmartForms, and according to the currently available information, it is expected that this update will be implemented in 4.6.11 minor release.
