Rework task notification email not sent
 

Diagnoses


Issue:
The notification email of a rework task was not received, even though the task was behaving normally in workspace.
 

Resolution

Resolution:
The issue was unreproducible, therefore a Package was requested from the client.
On creation, the client found out that the GUID of the SmartObject did not exist. Then they remembered they have actually deleted this SmartObject at an earlier stage.
Recreating the SmartObject solved the issue - the rework notification email was received.

Useful tip from the client:
If the solution is not executed as expected, try to create a package in the Package and Deployment tool and check if there are any errors. This could lead you to the problem.
