Report Controls not displaying any data
 

Diagnoses


We need to give someone a process report on a Smartform as the Process Portal is not available.

However the controls are displaying 'No data to display' on both the prod and staging environments.

I saw this http://help.k2.com/kb001458 and tried to change the regional settings without any success. It seems to correlate with this message in the K2 log:

Can you explain how to fix this please?

 

Resolution


The issue is occuring due to the Regional settings of the K2 and SQL Server . For some bizarre reason a DateTime format casting error during the execution of the report is resulting in the Non-Native Execution error we are seeing .

This bug was fixed in 4.6.10 . Unfortunately no cold-fix was created for this . Other than upgrading the alternative would be to change the regional setting of your K2 server and SQL to US
