I have developers that originally developed their SharePoint K2 application in the production environment. They have since re-created the application in our development environment and want to package and deploy this application to production. Before deploying the application to production, how do we completely remove the application that was already developed in production?
 

Diagnoses

Looking for a way to remove the K2 Application from one environment and deploy a new one.
 

Resolution

Deploying the new application to the production environment should just overwrite everything in the old application. We can delete everything separately and get rid of that old application. First we want to make sure their are no running processes. Go to your workspace and go to management/management console. Next go into your K2 Server and drill down to Workflow Server and go to Processes. Once in Processes dig down into Instances and delete all the versions. Now you can go back into K2 Designer and delete all of the SmartObjects, Views, Forms and Workflows. This should remove all parts of the package from the production environment. Again, if it's possible just deploy the new application as it should overwrite the old application.
