Registering K2 App on SP 2013 causes "No Such Host is Known" error
 

Diagnoses

On a new installation of K2, I'm trying to register the K2 App. I add the App to the Site collection, click to trust it.

After it installs, I attempt to register the K2 host using this URL

When I click next, the validation page loads, but after a moment, an error pops up: No such host is known

 

Resolution

Derived from having a Dev license, the K2 service was not working normally. The service was stopping even though it was in automatic mode. Mike reinstalled the full k2 suite, working with his full production key and was able to deploy the K2 for SharePoint to his environment.
