Symptoms

When retrieving a decimal value from a SharePoint list via K2 SmartObject to display it on a Form/View, it gets displayed in the wrong format. It seems the decimal symbol gets switched around, from , to . and vice versa.
 

Diagnoses

This seems like something to do with the regional language settings of the K2 Service account.
 

Resolution

Please make sure the regional settings for the SharePoint Site and K2 Service AD User Account are both set to English (United States) or en-US. This will ensure that decimal conversion between different regions will happen correctly.

After changing the Regional Language settings in Control Panel for the K2 Service Account, you'll have to stop and restart the K2 Blackpearl service.
